SAI Language Solutions was founded by Olivia Sturgess, whose journey began with owning an employment services company dedicated to serving people with disabilities. While passionately helping deaf individuals find jobs, Olivia encountered a significant challenge: the lack of interpreters. She often witnessed the frustration of those who were forced to communicate by writing back and forth on paper, highlighting the urgent need for effective language services.
This eye-opening experience ignited Olivia’s passion for breaking down communication barriers. Determined to make a difference, she founded San Antonio Interpreters, now known as SAI Language Solutions. What started as a local interpreting service with just 20 interpreters has now grown into a network of 17,000, driven by Olivia’s vision of providing comprehensive language services.
Olivia’s dedication to accessibility and her relentless pursuit of excellence have shaped SAI into a trusted leader in the language services industry. Her passion continues to inspire our commitment to innovation and our drive to ensure that everyone has a voice.
At SAI, we believe language has the power to unite, uplift, and transform lives. We partner with nonprofit organizations to provide discounted or pro bono language services, ensuring their vital missions reach diverse communities effectively.
